ForSociety
Definition
The project coordinated by the General Secretariat of Research and Technology in collaboration with the National Research and Technology Network (GRNET S.A.) focuses on the design of common national policies in the European Research Area, aiming mostly at the definition of the Technology Foresight.

Objectives:
Main objective of the Forsociety project is to assist the policymaking, the selection of priorities and the decision making for the most successful treatment of the technological challenges in the internationalized environment, having as main acknowledgement that “research-technology” constitutes field, facilitator, resource and variable for the maintenance of the social coherence in the future. The “Forsociety” project covers a wide range of technological areas that are considered to be crucial for the future prosperity of Europe and Greece of course by conducting structured and institutional dialogue at European level among scientific, technological and social partners.

In the project participate –as partners- public organizations responsible for research and technological policymaking (Ministries, Research Organizations etc.) from the United Kingdom, Boulgaria, France, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Malta, Norway, Holland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, Check Republic, Finland.
