Educational Support of the Go-Online program
Definition
The Go On Line program is an initiative of the Ministry of Development aiming at the diffusion of new technologies in the Greek small-medium enterprises. The Educational Support of the Go On Line program is implemented in the 13 regions of the country through the co-operation of GRNET with the regional academic institutions, chambes, developmental companies and other organizations which provide free of charge aconsulting and supportive services framework.

Objectives:
The Go On Line program aims at the familiarization of small enterprises and free lancers with the digital economy, the development of possibilities and chances offered by the Internet and the prompting of businessmen in regards to the development of ICT technologies in the frame of Information Society.
The consulting and supportive services the program offers are the following:
- Support and Guidance in regards to the Internet services
- Internet Portalwww.go-online.gr
- Specialized educational material
- Help Desk – Open Contact Line
Funding:
The program is implemented through the subsidy for the purchase of computers or/and the construction of a website and e-shop that will be provided by ΕΟΜΜΕΧ through the educational support that GRNET S.A. offers.
