Coordination of European Research within ICT and Robotics in Agriculture and related Environmental Issues (ICT-AGRI)
Definition:
ICT-AGRI (Information and Communication Technology in Agriculture) is a new European collaboration that aims at strengthening the research in the area and to develop a common research agenda. This collaboration will increase the impact of the national research programmes in information and communication technologies and robotics. ICT-AGRI is supporting the development and implementation of modern technologies to help building a competitive, sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural sector.

Objectives:
The objectives of the ERA-NET ICT-AGRI are:
·Mapping and analysis of existing research and future needs
·Development of instruments and procedures for transnational funding activities
·Development of strategic transnational research agenda and programmes
·Establishing and maintaining of international collaborations and networks
