Objectives :
6DEPLOY constitutes the evolution of the 6DISS project (http://www.6diss.org)and aims to support the deployment of IPv6 technology in:
Α) Research e-Infrastructures
Β) Projects funded by the European Commission under the Framework Program 7 - FP7 (http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/)
C) Developing countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and part of South-East Europe
D) Commercial environments in Europe.
6DEPLΟΥ will organize several technical workshops in beneficiary countries, such as Latin America or Africa. The project aims to maintain and extend a wide range of educational tools (e.g. technical presentations, multimedia e-learning content, etc) related to IPv6 technology, which are available to the public on the project web site. Furthermore, the 6DEPLOY team aims to become the centre of European expertise regarding IPv6 deployment and services by supporting researchers experimenting on IPv6 technology or engineers deploying IPv6-enabled infrastructures.
